Conclusion

The Reflection HTPC by Wolverine Conclusion and final pics

So now, everything was in place and the case was finally done. As usual this means mixed feelings: On one side, I'm very happy that the project is done; but as a wise man once said, “The chase is better than the catch.” Though the chase is over, this project was a new experience for me as it was quite a long way off my usual style. But I really enjoyed it and the end result is something that I'm very proud of.

For those of you who are curious, here's the final specs:
  • Mainboard: MSI RS690T mini-ITX AM2;
  • CPU: AMD 4850E 2.5GHz Dual core;
  • RAM: 2GB Corsair DDR2 667 SO-DIMM;
  • PSU: FSP300-601U, 300W, 1U;
  • HDD: two Seagate Barracuda ST31000340AS 7200.11 1TB;
  • HSF: Hiper HFC 20820 Ci Low-profile cooler;
  • LCD: Matrix Orbital GX Typhoon USB LCD.

This project was made possible because of my incredibly generous sponsors that keep showing their support for the modding scene time and time again. I also want to give big thanks to bit-tech.net, and especially Brett and Richard.
